Welcome to the Columbine Elementary Art Website!

The purpose of this website is to easily allow parents, students, and other teachers to see examples of each project the kids at Columbine are working on.

I will post examples and a description of each project. In addition, there will be art room updates and other important information added often. Please enjoy the site and check back often!

The Art Standard

Although art class is lots of fun, there is a ton of learning that takes place. Every time we have a class discussion, critique, or create a project, we are using at least one of the four Art Education Standards set up by the Colorado Department of Education. This is a picture of a poster that is right by the art room door. Before each class I move my hands to point to the standards we are specifically dealing with that day.
